Hi, I’m Rose Schiltz — a solo game developer with a passion for fast, intense, and expressive gameplay. I specialize in gameplay programming and systems design, primarily using Unity and C#, and I’ve taught myself 2D art and animation, marketing strategies, and production skills to bring my ideas to life from start to finish.
I graduated from NC State University with a B.S. in Computer Science (4.0 GPA). I’ve worked on various technical projects, but game development is where I merge my programming skills with creative problem-solving.
My first major solo project, Project Berserk, is a retro-style 2D fighting game with custom combat systems, state machines, and all other gameplay logic built from scratch. It also gave me the opportunity to explore avenues I was not familiar with, giving me the opportunity to ship a full game entirely on my own.
I’m now exploring new genres and systems, and looking to join a team where I can contribute as a gameplay programmer or technical designer. I iterate quickly, write clean, maintainable code, and aim to make every frame count — both on screen and in development. But for now, I have created Raijin Driver Studios for me to publish my work!
